Catching a criminal often requires the authorities to get inside the villain’s mind to figure out how he thinks. That’s the job of FBI agents Holden Ford and Bill Tench. They attempt to understand and catch serial killers by studying their damaged psyches. Along the way, the agents pioneer the development of modern serial-killer profiling. The crime drama has a strong pedigree behind the camera, with Oscar-nominated director David Fincher and Oscar-winning actress Charlize Theron among the show’s executive producers.
This show is extremely entertaining to me. I can watch it over and over. I think also they chose very multi-dimensional actors for the cast which makes you believe you are watching an actual documentary, rather than a dramatized television show.
I love anything that is true crime, loosely based on true crime, or has crime involved in it. This was definitely a win for me and I am anticipating watching season 3. I am currently listening to John Douglas’s books as well, which Killer Across the Table was the book that was the inspiration for this series.
